Fans recently got the trailer of Marvel’s upcoming television miniseries called Echo, which will be the tenth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In the show, fans get to see the return of Maya Lopez, who must come to terms with her past. A spin-off from the series Hawkeye (2021), Echo is Marvel Studios’ first TV show to receive a TV-MA rating.
The violence and brutality in the trailer were enough to hype up the fans but many have claimed that the show can’t be compared to Breaking Bad. The show also has some elements that remind the fans of Netflix’s Daredevil and the John Wick movies, but Breaking Bad? Fans are not so sure about that.

The upcoming show indeed shares a lot of elements from Netflix’s Daredevil but Breaking Bad is a completely different show and comparing the two makes no sense.
Echo is a spin-off from the Hawkeye series
The show will be the tenth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and a spin-off from the Hawkeye series. Alaqua Cox reprises her role as Maya Lopez / Echo from Hawkeye and the show also features Vincent D’Onofrio, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Graham Greene, Cody Lightning, Charlie Cox, Devery Jacobs, and Zahn McClarnon.
For the first time ever, Marvel will be releasing a TV show on Hulu as well, Echo is scheduled to be released on Disney+ and Hulu on January 10, 2024, and will consist of five episodes. Will the show be able to live up to its hype? Only time will tell.
