A Twitter user has fished out a video featuring comedian duo Laurel and Hardy where they can be seen doing steps similar to Naatu Naatu. Well, of course, the steps are not identical. But many were of the opinion that Laurel and Hardy taught the world Naatu Naatu ages ago.

It was a historic win for SS Rajamouli’s RRR after the song Naatu Naatu bagged the Best Original Song trophy. After the announcement, ripples of excitement spread all across the country, prompting people to celebrate by making dance videos for the blockbuster hit track.

Apart from the brilliant composition, the tough-to-replicate choreography was another topic of amazement for many. The swift steps executed with utter precision by Jr NTR and Ram Charan impressed all and sundry.

For the unaware, Englishman Stan Laurel and American Oliver Hardy were one of the most popular comedian duo from the 1920s till the 1950s. The comedic skits performed by the duo are iconic works of the silent era of films, though they later shifted to the ‘talkies’ as well.
